Professional Experience

  • I have provided couples, family, and individual counseling services as an independent contracted therapist since 2019 with a Georgia agency. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I provided substance abuse, DBT-informed, anger management, matrix, and domestic violence counseling services. 
  • As a contracted therapist, I partnered with agencies such as the Department of Family and Children’s Services in the state of Georgia. I have also worked hand in hand with family social service workers, CASAs, para-professionals, and municipals in approximately 20 counties. In addition to counseling, I have conducted comprehensive child and family assessments (CCFA) and child trauma assessments. 
  • I was employed as a psychiatric technician in 2016 with Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute. I completed CPR and patient de-escalation training, provided patient care regarding daily living, implemented verbal de-escalation with patients as needed, provided supervised medical care, assisted with educating patients regarding art-based self-care practices, and provided supervised assistance with emergency responses.
